Description

Hello, I've translated almost 2K messages for phab in transletwiki. It's possible to add the language here?

Event Timeline

Hello, can somebody please answer?

This should get deployed this coming week.

Actually, there is a deployment next week and there are scn translations in the repository, but according to rPHTR Phabricator Translations, the language needs to be added to src/locales/ before it will show up. Which I'm not sure I fully understand since there are languages in settings which have translations, but don't have a file in that directory (e.g. zh-hans/zh-hant).

Nikerabbit subscribed.

Mukunda was handling this process before. I hope it's documented somewhere so that someone else can take it up.

Change 974717 had a related patch set uploaded (by Pppery; author: Pppery):

[phabricator/translations@wmf/stable] Clean up a bunch of things

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/974717

Change #974717 merged by Brennen Bearnes:

[phabricator/translations@wmf/stable] Clean up a bunch of things

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/974717

I've optimistically moved this to Phabricator-next, but note that the translations won't be visible until the subtask is resolved even if the locale file gets deployed in the next deploy.

Can confirm Sicilian language is now available in the Language settings.

Apologies for the very long delay here. We really should have done better.

Pierpao rescinded a token.
Pierpao awarded a token.

I'm from Milano but I switched to Sicilian since that's awesome. Thanks Pppery, Brennen, and all!

For newcomers, you can translate from here as usual:

P.S.

We attracted the attention from Phorge :3

Wow - never thought this would get anywhere near as much attention as it did.

Please do see my notes at T318763 on how the deployment process works, though, so it will probably be a while before the next deploy (i.e I don't plan to re-run the generate script until both T363364 and T363188 are done)
