After a design review in T308008: Number of "found articles" is not matching the real number of articles we found that an intermediate loading state while navigating ( and fetching ) newcomer tasks would improve the user experience. This is because the pager text 1 of X suggestions can potentially change the value of X after the request is performed after the changes in T308008: Number of "found articles" is not matching the real number of articles.
This is a mock proposal for such loading state:
Note this uses an existing layout for empty and error state messages in the Suggested edits module.
Acceptance criteria
- The X in 1 of X suggestions should become ... while a request that can modify the number is on-going (note that not all requests will attempt to modify the final count, only the last "page" one).
- The "Loading suggestions" state should be shown to the user while the request is on-going
