List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable): Happens on iPod and iPhone in desktop mode on Wikimedia Commons

Others have reported the bug and posted screenshots here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Village_pump/Technical#Thumbnails_have_become_tiny

What happens?: Pages appear very very small, small type and lots of white space. Sentences go across the page and formatting is off on my user page.

What should have happened instead?:

Software version (if not a Wikimedia wiki), browser information, screenshots, other information, etc.:

Same here on de.wiktionary.org. It has something to do with 1.39.0-wmf.17 because de.wikipedia.org which still has 1.39.0-wmf.16 looks normal.
