LiquidThreads should obey Vector's "useeditwarning" user preference
Open, LowestPublicFeature

Description

By default, users are warned if they try to leave a page while they're editing it. This doesn't appear to apply if you're replying to a LiquidThreads post. This seems like inconsistent interface behavior.

That message is provided by the Vector extension on standard edit pages. When you reply on a LiquidThreads-enabled talk page, you are not on an edit page, and the message does not appear.

Yes, I see the technical reason for this behavior: I just think it should be changed. :)

+ Depends on bug 45051 - I don't think this should be done until the feature is in core.

The edit warning feature (and preference) is in core for quite some time now.

LiquidThreads has been replaced by StructuredDiscussions on all Wikimedia production wikis (except one, which will be done soon). It is no longer under active development or maintenance, so I'm re-classifying all open LQT tasks as "Lowest" priority.
