Bug when adding a short description to an article
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi, I was surprised to find that version 7.2.0 no longer has the character counter (#/40) displayed when adding a short description to an article. I'm a member of WikiProject Short descriptions and I found the counter very useful for adding/modifying short descriptions holding to the 40-character limit. Was this removal intentional?

Fix is in 7.3.1.

@Tsevener, I was looking into this one and noticed that the character limit is set 90 on 7.3.1 (2286). Is this the expected behavior? I was testing in English, should I look at other languages? Thanks
