Following the deployment of a fix for T349311, which was the root cause of this task, we can consider this task as done. T349893 can also be resolved, as it's a duplicate of this task.

This issue is cropping up a lot again. For me, the problem occurs when trying to open a translation, or start a new one, from Scandinavian languages such as no:, sv:, da: or fi:. It does not seem to happen in relation to enwiki.

Hello Ranveig. Opening old tasks without sufficient info is not helpful. Please create a new task with 1) steps to reproduce (e.g. what article from which language to which language) 2) errors from the JavaScript console (if any) 3) errors from the failing API request in the network view (if any and you can find it) so that we can investigate the issue.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. I don't really understand how this system works. I thought it was best to reopen the task since a lot of people were reporting the same problem as stated at the top at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:Content_translation, without any feedback. Shortly after I had reopened this task, I went back to my old translations, and they appeared, so the problem may have been fixed again. Let's hope it stays fixed.

I have tried to create a new bug report for the problem with creating new articles at T352620. I'm afraid I don't know how to tag it properly.

Thanks for reporting! I'm closing this again.
