When using "Move page" the user can not control the "minor edit flag"

Description

When you use [[Special:MovePage]] it is not possible to set the minor edit flag. When you enable minordefault in [[Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing]] your moves get marked as minor edit.

Either

  1. make a possibility to enable and disable the minor edit flag on [[Special:MovePage]]

or

  1. ignore the setting of minordefault on moves.

I think the option 2 is satisfactory.

The null revision in the history is always marked as minor edit. No preferences is checked there.

You can treat it like that. The description is wrong, but the missing minor checkbox can be a bug or it is missed by design. I am not sure, what the best. If moves always minor edits, never minor edits or let the user choose.

I would keep it as is.

The different handling of minordefault as written in the task description does not exists. So this requests the same feature as T176053, which is declined.

Let's keep that minor flag as decide back in 2005 and explained under T176053#3614972
