VisualEditor: If I click on "show all fields" and add a parameter, then leave the list of all fields open so I can add another (and another and another)
Open, MediumPublicFeature

Description

This is from Salix alba, and I don't believe that I can improve upon his description:

I wanted to add {{tl|Infobox musical artist}} to an article and it proved to be much more painful than it needs to be.

If you want add one of the minor fields like {{param|genre}} you have to
#Click on '''Add more information'''
#Click on '''Show 17 more fields'''
#scroll down to find the field you want and click on it
#The window will then scroll to the top of the form so you have to
#scroll down again to find the field you want and fill in the value
#repeat the whole process again.

This could be made easier. Why do I need to click twice to show all fields? Why do I need to go back to square one after adding a field? Why does it not auto scroll to the correct place (actually why not simply show the field under it description in the list of fields).

This task appears to be the closest to what we think might be a solution to this wishlist survey proposal: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Wishlist_Survey_2022/Editing/Customised_infobox

The MediaWiki-extensions-TemplateWizard design for template parameters is to always have the list visible in the dialog's sidebar. Perhaps something similar would be appropriate for VE?
