MediaViewer ellipsis behavior with right-to-left languages
Open, LowestPublic

Description

Long above-the-fold texts are truncated with an ellipsis. The RTL-ness of the ellipsis is determined by the user interface language, but the direction of the text is determined by the language of the text.

The description does not make much sense, but judging from the title of the duplicate ticket, this is about the ellipsis appearing on the wrong side of the truncated text.

No clue if that's the correct behavior or not - help from someone familiar with RTL would be appreciated.

CC-ing Amir as apparently he reported this.

Mass-removing the Multimedia tag from MediaViewer tasks, as this is now being worked on by the Reading department, not Editing's Multimedia team.
