Will the repo be available as regular extension on mediawiki.org?

Still a problem imo.
I didn't find Manual:$wgMiserMode searching "misermode" before my edit: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?search=misermode&title=Special%3ASearch&go=Go

It was the first thing that annoyed me when I updated MW.
Very convincing facts, thanks.
Oh, you're right. but wlshow "unread" is not available in my MW 1.22 :)

Thanks, the patch works also in MW 1.22.12

Some JS scripts in extensions rely on the image name as they grab it from the src-URL to pass it to the API or thumb.php.
Meanwhile I think it should be a browser feature.

So, what's the situation now? Soon there will be no stable MW version with working view counter and people can't update without destroying all their stats.

You're right of course. I just looped through each result formatting each result and joing all in a var which I then parse altogether.

I couldn't reproduce the behaviour on mediawiki.org since the snippet is not returning the complete source text as on my MW 1.22.12 But the titlesnippet just returns the same false source code:
Returned snippet in nowiki tag:
[http://www.facebook.com/<span class='searchmatch'>visionquest</span>.official?sk=wall Facebook]
Dirty hacking bugfix:
var snippet = item.snippet.replace(/<span class='searchmatch'>(.+)<\/span>/g, "$1");

And the devs wonder why DPL (third party) is used so widely ;)
Such an API call would still be better than not being able to use the API imo.

I added it here because on MW it reads that Phabricator will replace Bugzilla.
