By the way, I mention an annoying issue related to Special:TranslatorSignup. If someone has registered as a translator on a Wikimedia project and then has been blocked there, they still receive notifications (in particular on other projects) about translations that they actually are not interested in anymore. Unfortunately, they cannot unregister because they are blocked. It would be nice if the proposed "Unsubscribe" button was also available for blocked users.

No, i.e. when I add &safemode=1 to the URL, the diff looks as expected, when I remove it, left angle brackets are displayed instead of <. It must be a gadget. My common.js, global.js and global.css are virtually empty.

@MarcoAurelio Well, I am not a native English speaker, but it does not make sense to me. The verb "disabled" clearly refers to $1 so IMO the second line should sound "$2 is the person disabling the two-factor authentication, parsed there for GENDER."

@Bugreporter Just look at the log entries – these three rules/filters have been triggered because something is screwed up "below", perhaps AbuseFilter extension itself. It's not a problem with the rules, they have been working for years and have not been changed recently.

I would like to add that this is pretty annoying issue because it makes reverting multiple vandalisms hard, e.g. I am not able to restore using popups version of File:UA Flight 175 hits WTC south tower 9-11 edit.jpeg from 21st May.

I got the same error yesterday when I tried to split File:MTA Long Island Bus Orion VII Next Generation bus.jpg on Commons:

The file had five versions, I deleted the file, successfully restored the oldest version and moved it to File:MTA Long Island Bus Orion VII NG N17 Rockville Centre.jpg. Then, when I tried to restore the second version (revisions from 19th April 2009), the error mentioned above occured. When I tried to restore the third version (revisions from 2nd May 2009), I got

Taking into account the policy, shouldn't these file types be disabled in MediaWiki's configuration for Wikivoyage (en and others)? Just asking, I don't know MediaWiki's internals and don't know if it is even possible. Regarding Abuse Filter, this rule rejects the file types mentioned above:
(action == "upload" | action == "stashupload") & (file_mime == "video/webm" | file_mime == "application/ogg" | file_mime = "audio/wav" | file_mime == "audio/x-flac")
Of course "Prevent the user from performing the action in question" should be turned on for the rule.

OK guys, I've found the bug: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki%3AGadget-Cat-a-lot.js%2Fpl&type=revision&diff=259650358&oldid=236635888. Shame on me – I introduced it in March. The strange thing is that I or anybody else noticed the bug/error earlier. On the other hand, I have never touched Russian nor Ukrainian translations.
@zhuyifei1999, @Perhelion My UI's language is Polish, but you might also try Russian and Ukrainian. I confirm that the error doesn't appear for English, German, French, Spanish and a few other languages.
Guys, do you have Cat-a-lot turned on? Because it seems that this is the gadget that causes the problem. Everything seems to be fine when I turned it off.

Perhaps it depends on gadgets one has turned on? I also can't see the error when I'm logged out.
I've noticed that the error also appears on Special:Contributions and an other special page(s). Although File, Commons, Template and User namespaces are OK. I've tried to restart my browser and bypass cache (Ctrl+Shift+R) but it hasn't helped.

OK, I played a bit with the file and managed to restore all page versions and all file versions except one. When I try to restore file version from 3rd April 2008, I get DBTransactionSizeError mentioned above. So, could someone with access to the database restore this version "manually"?

I just tried to restore only a few revisions (till 3 April 2008) and I got Error undeleting file: A non-identical file already exists at "mwstore://local-swift-eqiad/local-public/6/6d/Transmission_icon.png".
A few minutes ago I tried to restore the file again and this time I got To avoid creating high replication lag, this transaction was aborted because the write duration (4.5803732872009) exceeded the 3 second limit.
