When you open an empty page or create a new page using mobile VisualEditor, tapping anywhere should slide up the keyboard and open up the editing toolbar from the top. Instead, there is a only one single line which will enable the cursor for editing only if you click there, this is very hard to spot and confusing as it seems the editor does not work at all.
It will be great if we can enable the cursor upon clicking anywhere on the viewport area.

This seems to be a problem when using a mobile browser too, now. (I found this task when trying to see if I was about to file a duplicate.) Affects mobile VE, but not mobile wikitext editor.
