Closed, ResolvedPublic1 Estimated Story Points

Description

  1. Copy a wikilink with a target in Arabic script from one VE surface to another.
  2. Click on the pasted link so that the link inspector opens.
  3. The link target displays in percent enconding.

The effect disappears after you save the page. Verified in Firefox 48.0b1 and Chrome 52.0.2743.41 beta (64-bit) on OS X 10.11.5.

I actually can't reproduce this one.

I grabbed some arabic links from https://ar.wikipedia.org/ (editing the عضو_برلمان article, to be precise), and pasted them into my local mediawiki VE. They correctly pasted as "internal" wiki-links, and showed as non-encoded text.

What am I missing?

Jdforrester-WMF assigned this task to DLynch.

Hmm, yeah, I think this got fixed on Beta Cluster since I tested it on Friday night; perhaps a auto-deploy slowness.

Yep, looks fixed for me on the beta cluster as well.
