Hi, I was sent here from a proposal to add a feed for Portal:Current events over at the village pump.
Could someone give context on why this was closed, and whether any technical blockers were found that prevented it from being implemented? Feel free to also join the conversation at the village pump. Thank you!

The decline here was "via bulk update". I suspect ssomeone was just cleaning up some old tasks by closing them as declined (which is not generally a good idea, but I understand why people want to do it) and not an individual assessment of the merits of the task.

Thanks @Pppery, that's good news! Is there anything that I can do here or is this in WMF staff hands now? The task should be pretty straightforward if my assumptions on the village pump proposal were correct, but I'm not sure what kind of access is needed.
