[Spike] How do we have a test instance that supports a relatively larger number of people testing prototypes?
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Context

In the coming week(s), we will invite volunteers to test v1.0 of the replying prototype: T235592.

Our current plan, is to have volunteers test the prototype on the visual editor prototype server.

To have volunteers' experiences with the prototype more closely resemble what using the replying workflow in production will be like, we'd like for volunteers to be able to use the prototype while being logged in.

This task is about figuring out what the best approach is to supporting many logged in contributors testing the prototype

Done

  • Create a plan for supporting testing of replying v1.0 prototype with many logged in contributors

I am marking this as resolved considering the prototype is now live on beta.wmflabs.org [1] which supports a relatively larger number of logged in and out contributors testing the prototype [2].
