This task is about having a conversation will volunteers at de.wiki to learn what they think about the prospect of the Reply and New Discussion Tools being made available as opt-in beta features at the German Wikipedia.

  • What functionality the Reply and New Discussion Tools will offer them
  • What the Reply and New Discussion Tools look like
  • How they can try the Reply and New Discussion Tools before it is offered as a Beta Feature
  • What people who have been using the tools at other wikis have had to say about it
  • What early testing has indicated about the Reply Tool's impact on how likely people are to publish edits to talk pages.
  • The Reply Tool will not be available before any blockers that surface are resolved
