Hello, I use highlighting of syntax when editing Wikipedia. I think that it can be useful to develop it to DiscussionTools' source mode. Would it be possible?

It would be technically possible, we would just have to consider where to put the tool for toggling it, as we are using a minimal toolbar compared to the full page editor (see also T277309)
