We'd need a way to find out what the next branch task is; https://train-blockers.toolforge.org/ does this, so steal/re-use that?

Some discussion about this with @thcipriani earlier - might also be able to repurpose code he's got for generating the deployment calendar.

Everything that's been visible in the deployment calendar gets scraped into the train-blockers database. Some of it is exposed on https://train-blockers.toolforge.org/api.php, it has the current task and known future ones.
