Description

Create a new account on any of wikis (the issue was found on bnwiki). Vector 2022 will be displayed by default.
Click on the user icon - the drop-down menu will display Contributions with a pulsing blue dot to lead a user to discover CX tool.

The issues:

the blue dot is slightly misplaced

hovering over the menu items makes the blue dot become obscured (click on the animated gif below):

Note:

in legacy Vector the blue dot is positioned correctly

Hello, newbie here, I spent sometime trying to reproduce this bug locally without success. Anybody knows in which situation the "blue dot" appear to the user? Is there any setting to activate? Any help would be welcome, thank you!

It should become visible after activating the Content translation beta feature. @santhosh may confirm the exact conditions.

Given that we are in the process of moving Content Translation out of beta gradually on more wikis, we may consider retiring this at some point or adjust the conditions (e.g., if we want to teach how to find ways to contribute once T286466 is available on desktop).

I have spent considerable time trying to reproduce this on multiple wikis without success. Closing as probably long gone, this can be reopened if it is still occuring.
