2) Contribution history links from the browser (or DM’s, like in the Slack example below), should take users to the native in-app contributions page whenever possible:

Because the URL format is something like w/index.php...which is out of the current deep link settings we have now.

Couldn't reproduce; please try with the latest beta. (and make sure that your browser app didn't become the default handler for wikipedia.org links.)
Thanks, @Dbrant - I think I had the default handler issue you described. Appears to be fixed on 2.7.50425-alpha-2022-12-05
