Vector 2022 Tools sidebar formatting issues

Description

What happens?:

  • The "Atom" (feedlinks) link appears over the icon for the link when expanded
  • The "Atom" link icon appears hard against the border when collapsed
  • The "Edit interlanguage links" (EIL) link text wraps onto a second line when expanded
  • The EIL link text size is different to all other links (And is too small to read when collapsed)
  • The EIL link pencil icon appears hard against the border when collapsed

What should have happened instead?:

  • Atom link should appear after the icon when tools is expanded
  • Atom icon should start in line with the other text links (Not the border) when collapsed
  • EIL should have the same font-size as all other links (Expanded and collapsed)
  • EIL should not have text wrap since there is whitespace available for it to appear on one line (When expanded)
  • EIL pencil icon should start in line with the other text links (Not the border) when collapsed

The first issue "The icon overlap" has a duplicate T327717 which was created 3 mins before this. I don't know how to tag duplicates.

Also, the font size and padding in the sidebar and menu are too large. If they were reduced, the sidebar could take less horizontal space. See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:Reading/Web/Desktop_Improvements#Upcoming_Page_Tools_sidebar:_font_size_and_line_spacing_too_large where I reported this problem three days ago.

We'll track these issues in T327717 and T328069.

Does T327732 or T310893 cover your concerns here? If so I suggest continuing the conversation there. If not, let me know and I'll create a new ticket to make sure this is represented.
