IP masking may impact the Wikilink tool. We should investigate and test whether it seems as though any updates will be required.
The only way that Wikilink interacts with production MediaWiki is by consuming the page-links-change EventStream.

Wikilink consumes data from the link events stream to display information about links added from The Wikipedia Library. Now, instead of IPs, the database will store temporary account names. We do not filter information by anonymous/logged-in users, so this will not impact it in any way.
