Event Timeline

Change 980895 had a related patch set uploaded (by DLynch; author: DLynch):

[operations/mediawiki-config@master] Enable Edit Check on arwiki

Change 980895 abandoned by DLynch:

[operations/mediawiki-config@master] Enable Edit Check on arwiki

Plans changed

Update: none of these are getting deployed today, and arwiki won't be enabled universally because it's going to be in the A/B test.

Enabling EC(R) as a default feature at some wikis, while we look for candidates to run the A/B may not be the most efficient strategy. To be discussed with the team, but I'm suggesting abandoning this task and switching to T345298: Identify participating wikis for Edit Check (references) A/B test.

@MNeisler will provide the requirements for the A/B test in T345298. We could keep the deployment as a default feature for small wikis.

We will just focus on T345298: Identify participating wikis for Edit Check (references) A/B test, but provide the feature by default for smaller wikis if they request it.
