This ticket is to improve some of the copy in the image upload wizard based on community feedback
- Update the copy in Question 3 of "own work" flow as highlighted below
Old copy: This work is for my personal use, e.g. photos of myself, my family or friends, or I am required to upload it for my job.
New copy: This work is for my personal use e.g. photos of myself, my family or friends, or self-promoting content.
- Update the copy in Question 4 of "someone else's work" flow as highlighted below:
Old copy: I confirm that this work does not include material restricted by copyright such as logos, posters, album cover etc.
New copy: I confirm that this work does not include material restricted by copyright such as logos, posters, cover art etc.
- Update the following warning message which appears in the first question of "own work" flow and also in the first question of "someone else's work" flow.
Old copy: Do not upload these files! Wikimedia Commons does not host media under copyright. Only media with free licenses or in the public domain are permitted on Commons.
New copy: Do not upload these files! Wikimedia Commons does not host media protected by copyright. Only media with free licenses or in the public domain are permitted on Commons.
