Background Information

Hypothesis 5.1.9 - If we enable Parsoid on Incubator and all newly created Wikis by Q2, we’ll further ensure sustainability by not allowing the number of wikis that run on the legacy parser to grow. We will measure the success of this rollout through detailed evaluations using the Confidence Framework reports, with a particular focus on Visual Diff reports and the metrics related to performance and usability. Additionally, we will assess the reduction in the list of potential blockers, ensuring that critical issues are addressed prior to wider deployment.

Acceptance Criteria

• Add Parsoid as a new step for newly created wikis in the post-creation setup Wiki-Setup (Create)
  • T376827: Add a new checklist item to the Wiki creation process for Parsoid Read Views
• Roll-out parsoid to https://incubator.wikimedia.org
• Bonus: roll-out parsoid for the most recent created wikis
