splitting off from Bug 47045 comment 10

loading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:AbuseLog?wpSearchUser=216.124.227.188&wpSearchFilter=&wpSearchTitle= updates user touched for the user that loaded the page. don't do that.

<jeremyb> i got that same lock wait timeout on at least 3 separate occasions
<jeremyb> (just by testing... i don't actually use the tool myself)
<binasher> Special:AbuseLog?wpSearchUser updates user_touched? that's nuts.. that should be its own ticket, unrelated to 47045

I can't seem to confirm this. With debug mode on, I only see SELECT queries being run, no UPDATE queries.
