an inline external link in square brackets without a title doesn't appear in Flow pages on mobile web
Open, NormalPublic

Description

An inline external link in square brackets and without a title doesn't appear in Flow pages on mobile web. For example - "[http://www.howdoeshomeopathywork.com/]"

To see it in action: This first post in this Topic is supposed to have a visible and clickable [1] link, but it doesn't: https://m.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Topic:Se6vfq581nl12yuz&topic_showPostId=se6vfq6wugjba8sb#flow-post-se6vfq6wugjba8sb

In the same post on desktop you can see "[1]": https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Topic:Se6vfq581nl12yuz&topic_showPostId=se6vfq6wugjba8sb

It also appears on a non-Flow wiki page: https://m.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Amire80/mobile_link

See also T93723: Auto-numbered external links are not visible when JS doesn't execute.

i think the patch for T93723 might fix this as well, but i'm not sure how to get the full mobile treatment on my localhost, i only know how to switch it to the minerva skin.

Unfortunately, no. See T93968: Mobile should not completely blank mediawiki.skinning.content.parsoid. mediawiki.skinning.content.parsoid is already marked as a mobile module (it should have already worked, albeit requiring JS), but mobile replaces it with a no-op implementation.
