Curated Wikimedia Commons feeds such as Media of the day

This one is very simple. Media of the day has a RSS feed. Anyone can create an account in the Mastodon instance of their choice and then point a bot that will publish the contents of a RSS feed.

If someone is interested but not enough to setup the infrastructure, I have everything ready in a server that I run as part of a personal pet project (which has nothing to do with Wikimedia but is related with freedom, free knowledge...). I would only need the credentials of the account(s) and the RSS feed(s) URL(s).

Thank you - good points there.

Also, putting a star on a Wikimedia Commons file would be nice.

+1 !

About "talk pages" I think that would be possible only creating something based on Flow, but, as far as I know, that is sadly under some kind of decommission :(
