Description

I having several problems while using the content translation on mobile devices.

  • First, when I start a translation or I load a saved translation, the translation interface and editor does not load correctly, and it shows a white screen like this:

To try to translate in mobile, I having to put on the “desktop site” (Sitio de escritorio) check in the options menu. And it loads correctly the translation interface.

*Second, when I load a translation saved, some of the Content of the paragraph disappears unexpectedly.

The browser that I'm using is Google Chrome for Android.

Event Timeline

The current version of Content translationis not designed for mobile. This is a known issue. The three column layout that require for translating content demands wider screenspace. We donot recommend using it in small devices.

A new version of Content translation is in development using mobile first design. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Content_translation/CX3 has the details of early stages.

Section translation is already intended to support the translation process on mobile. Specific issues can be reported using the SectionTranslation tag.
