The option to keep an MT option as default disappears as the user tries to click it
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When translating Paneer from English to Japanese (link) Google translate is used by default, when trying to change the option to "copy source" an option to keep it as default is provided. However, taping on it does not keep such option as the default.

This seems to be related with the management of the input focus since the button seems to disappear as the user tries to click it (pressed state is not visible).

A similar (or the same) issue is happening at euwiki. When I choose Elia as the default translator, the option is not saved. Most of the time ,I have to choose it for every paragraph.

can't test this due to Elia 500 error in production

  1. You can test this on any other MTs. Not blocked on Elia errors (I have reported task about this: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T288272).
  2. This change is yet to deploy (ie wmf.17)
