Background:

The move to Figma from Sketch as the design team’s main tool has had many advantages (collaboration, easier developer handoff, transparent design process, etc.). In order to keep Android’s design components usable and maintainable over time we’ll need to update its component library. This work will be done alongside ongoing Android projects. The task’s here to capture this work and use it for potential discussions.
