Description

This task describes the deployment plan for T321754: [EPIC] Section-Level Images (newcomer structured task) and we can use it to coordinate deployment patches.

The plan is to deploy, on June 20, a config patch to set $wgGENewcomerTasksSectionImageRecommendationsEnabled = true; for:

arwiki
cswiki
eswiki
bnwiki

Rollback plan

Set $wgGENewcomerTasksSectionImageRecommendationsEnabled = false for the pilot wikis. We can also use Special:EditGrowthConfig to immediately switch off the section-level image recommendation task type, if needed.

Checked the pilot wikis (desktop and mobile) - Add section level image task is available; no issues have been found. Since no content-modifying testing was done in production, I'm moving the task to Test in Production|Watching for monitoring & possible feedback.
