UI design for Emergency flow

The designs below use Codex components and incorporate the following recommendations from user testing:

  • Clearer categories for radio buttons so that users can make a choice without confusion.
  • Improved messaging to set expectations that the Wikimedia Foundation emergency team will be responding.
  • Communicating that reports remain private to alleviate any privacy concerns.

Next steps

  • UX copy needs reviewing by Trust & Safety Legal team
  • Need to confirm that reporters are assigned an ID and whether this can be incorporated into the MVP?
  • Further round of unmoderated user testing
