@AbbanWMDE Hi, the banner works in vector: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Hauptseite?banner=WMDE_Paid_Editing_Survey_2022&useskin=vector but destroys the interface on other widely used skins like monobook: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Hauptseite?banner=WMDE_Paid_Editing_Survey_2022&useskin=monobook This cannot go live yet.

Sure, there is a local group called “autoreview” which is equal to the „Passiver Sichter“ group. It just needs to be targeted in the banner source code (which seems to be developed by WMDE's SWE departement here, right?).

@GoranSMilovanovic Thank you, for your kind support. :) Looking forward to working with you again (and the invoice ;D).

@GoranSMilovanovic Thank you for the data! Both files are fine with me. Please proceed with the analytical part as suggested. :)

@GoranSMilovanovic As the test is over now, should this ticket be closed and the conversation continued on the main ticket [[T291547]]? I could also create an analytics sub-ticket if need be.

@GoranSMilovanovic @kai.nissen I'm not surprised by the low number of clicks on the second landing page. It's just mentioned at the last page of the survey and there is not much urge to click that button but a nice plus for those who seek more information about it.

@GoranSMilovanovic I was able to add these two types. My test was successful but I guess that you want to see if it's also correctly tracked. ;) I've enabled the campaign again and let it run until tomorrow 10 am CEST. It'd be nice if you could look for new data either this evening or tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance once again!
Looks good to me, thank you. Sadly, I couldn't implement the closed and clicked parts but we are okay with that. I've disabled the campaign for now. Full playout will start on Monday, 4 October.
@GoranSMilovanovic Yes, there have been interactions with the banner since the most recent changes took place. Another test would be nice! Thanks in advance.
Good from my end. :)
Thanks, I've fixed it accordingly.
Hi @kai.nissen , thanks for the hints!
Alright, thanks for the explanation! That's a little bit unexpected because the banner is displayed to me for the right articles.
@GoranSMilovanovic Thanks for the info!

Alright, thanks! :)
The display of the banner, the links to all the surveys on wikimedia.de , the links from there to https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:F%C3%B6rderung (including campaign tags) all seem to be correct with me. Did you receive some data?
We only have one dynamic banner for this campaign which displays different content (text, link) according to the detected categories of the article.
The same detection also delivers the banner name for EventLogging so that we should be good with tracking each type of displayed banner:
bannerName: thisCampaign
- test banner: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralNoticeBanners/edit/WMDE_vssurvey_fall_2021_full
- actions are twofold:
A) banner display, banner click, banner close related to the category where the banner is shown — although due to the script adjustments, maybe only the banner display ”banner-seen“ will be reported, see snippet:
var eventPayload = { $schema: '/analytics/legacy/wmdebannerinteractions/1.0.0', bannerName: thisCampaign, // dynamischer Wert abhängig von der Kategorie bannerAction: 'banner-seen', // banner-closed, banner-seen oder banner-clicked }; var streamName = 'eventlogging_WMDEBannerInteractions'; mw.eventLog.submit( streamName, eventPayload ); //EventLoggin-Snippet
B) page-view of https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Förderung with campaign tags

If it's possible, we can use https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:CentralNotice&subaction=noticeDetail¬ice=WMDE+promoting+volunteer+support+2021 which is set up as required. If we had to decide between broader reach through one campaign versus clean impression numbers, we would go for the former in that case.
Banner source code has been developed: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralNoticeBanners/edit/WMDE_vssurvey_fall_2021_full
The functionality looks as expected, the WMDE schema needs to be integrated.
Done, will be “Wusstest du, dass du auch zum Bearbeiten von " + thisText + " in Wikipedia Förderung erhalten kannst? Teile in einer kurzen Umfrage mit, was dir dabei besonders helfen könnte.”
@kai.nissen Litte reminder. :)

@kai.nissen I've tested what you've recommended to me whether it's possible to use one campaign and just switch the link target (and banner text as we want to name the three topics there). It's possible (see [[T291551]]) but it came to my mind that we of course want to know how many banners will be displayed in LGBT category tree, how many in Chemie category tree, how many in Frauen category.

Caused by https://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vorlage:FRAUROT&diff=208403105&oldid=208108158&diffonly=1 (doesn't load without diffonly=1), fixed with https://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Kurier&diff=208408370&oldid=208408180 . Resulted in issues on pages where it was transcluded like Wikipedia:Kurier and Benutzer Diskussion:IvaBerlin .

I don't know how I can help here. I only used this tool but never had access to its code. I don't understand the error log either. ;-)

Except for the cooperations we intensified with German National Heritage Committee and German UNESCO Foundation, we only had smaller discussions with organisations in Germany. So WONTFIX might fit, yes.

Woops, apparently I forgot to save my comment when I changed the subscribers from my volunteer to my staff account.

Thanks, I forwarded it to my colleagues at WMDE. We'll send out test mails and let you know.
