Just visited this page and cannot replicate the error, structured data UI seems to be working normally.

Could one of these gadgets be causing the problem?

Seems entirely possible. If a gadget has been used to hide the entire structured data UI, then an error of "Missing mediainfo tabs" from the page initialization script would not be surprising.

Is there any way to see what gadgets have been loaded with a particular error?

Not yet, but I'm working on finding solutions.

I took a look at the gadgets and most seem to be CSS although there is this one which is doing various unsupported things

I think to squash this error in the logs we'll either need to drop the throw in our code or find the offending gadget code and make it depend on our code to ensure the order is correct. We're under logging right now due to a Chrome bug so I'm trying to clean up any errors where I can.

The issue is originating from the gadget which fires the wikipage.content hook with content which doesn't contain .wbmi-tabs

Please update the logic here to account for this case (or stop throwing the error).

Is it possible to get some details on how to replicate the error?

While before this was logspam, this seems to have spiked with the current train. 259 errors on group 1 wikis in last 3hrs. If this becomes 1000 tomorrow, or > 100 in an hour the train will be rolled back per

It seems to be occuring on PDF files e.g.

Change 685622 had a related patch set uploaded (by Eric Gardner; author: Eric Gardner):

[mediawiki/extensions/WikibaseMediaInfo@master] Handle "missing mediainfo tabs" errors

Pretty sure this error is the result of some unsupported gadget or user script. I am unable to repro locally.

Aside from 3rd-party code that we don't control there is no good reason for this to happen. So the goal is to avoid spamming the logs. Just uploaded a patch that adds a try/catch block to handle the "missing mediainfo tabs" error in case it gets thrown, returning early if so. Hopefully that addresses the problem.

Also regarding @Jdlrobson's comment above, this error will only ever happen on Commons, so there is no need for it to block the train.

Checked on commons wmf.7- the error is not present.
