Invite to review of recently translated articles not showing when it should
Open, MediumPublic

Description

The entry point to encourage review of recently translated articles (T287236) is not showing for articles that meet the criteria such as this one

The article was created today ( 31 August 2022‎ ) and had only 3 edits, meeting the expected criteria:

  • User is accessing the mobile web version of the article.
  • There are no other notices for the article.
  • User is logged-in
  • The article was published as a new page by Content or Section Translation.
  • The article was published in the last 10 days.
  • The article has less than 5 edits since it was published.
  • The page is not a redirect.

However the invite is not shown as this video illustrates:

The expected result would be to see the "This page was recently translated" notice like in the mockup below:

Additional considerations:

  • Note that the time criteria ("The article was published in the last 10 days") may no longer apply after some days and you may need to look for similar examples from recently translated articles.
  • The above example is for an article created with Content Translation. Articles created with Section translation seem to have the same issue (examples from Persian and from Turkish Wikipedias), and may be worth checking. Although this may be a case of their recent support (T302061) not being deployed.
