Description

🌱 This task is a seed of an idea on the forest floor that is Phabricator. As such, please consider it as a gathering place for a yet-to-be prioritized project.

Open questions

Whatever future solutions are found, might it make sense to similarly and explicitly store regular snapshots of data viz images to preserve a comparable historical record? via @Sj in T334940#9146175.
What might we be able to learn/reuse from the visualization libraries Our World in Data uses? via @Sj on mw:Extension talk:Graph/Plans
