@Niharika Thanks for the help and it worked finally without any issues. I will like to ask how it was possible for you to "rebase" a submitted patch (like how you rebased patch set 2 in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/277179/).
Mar 26 2016
I'm sorry @01tonythomas. I corrected that mistake a while ago but it seems like when I upload a new patchset the commit message falls back to the first commit message for this patch. This is why the mistake keeps repeating.

Ok @Niharika thanks for the suggestion I will be mostly focusing on this proposal: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T130455

Thanks @01tonythomas . @Niharika: I'm on it!
Do you mean the link to the actual phabricator project task or the proposal phabricator task??

Thanks @01tonythomas for your corrections
Thanks for reviewing and also for your comments on my proposal

Ok @01tonythomas, sorry for the confusion

@Yaron_Koren - Is there already a portal for users to sign up so that they can be notified of "events" or it has to be done during the GSoC period?
Mar 16 2016
I am interested in working on this project for this upcoming GSoC and I want to know which other MediaWiki-specific sniffs are to be worked on this project.
Please I wish to know can I write a proposal for this project even though it has only one mentor listed??
I wish to know if by the meaning of providing at least a *framework* as said in the description of the project, it means providing deliverables that will at least provide the following functionalities:
Mar 13 2016
@Yaron_Koren : No I wasn't able to reproduce it because I didn't know which page to create under the semantic forms namespace(tried create category page and create a form but couldn't reproduce it) in special pages on my localhost.

Hello
I've set up the SMW and SF on my local machine. When looking through I'm a bit overwhelmed with which file deals with the creation of pages so that I can spot that particular bug.

Hello
I have gone through the description and especially the talk presentation at https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/w/images/9/95/Page_ownership_in_MediaWiki.pdf looking at the solutions outlined earlier in the description and document, I feel skilled enough to work on this project for GSoC'16. Also I'm working on T46105 as my microtask for this project.

I've not been seeing anyway to implement full text search directly in SpecialUndelete.php by looking at this document https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Database_access. But I decided to write it using a query directly and I just wanted anyone to look at it through pastebin because I don't seem it correct to submit it as a patch. This is the code: http://pastebin.com/7UU5qySN

In case no one turns up, you can even look for one among https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Outreach_programs/Possible_mentors -- who might be interested in mentoring. Thank you!
Ok thank you @01tonythomas

Hello is anyone willing to mentor this project for GSoc-2016?
Hello! I would like to work on this project for this upcoming round of GSoC 2016. Is anyone willing to mentor?
Hello I am working on implementing the fallback case mentioned in (T109561#1940512). I've gone through https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Database_access and don't see any related documentation on writing full text queries with the databae abstraction layer. Any pointers will be welcome.
Mar 4 2016
Ok thanks @MER-C.
@Sumit : I will be interested in participating on this project as an intern for the GSoC '16. How can I ping potential mentors on this task?
@MER-C: Thanks for the initial pointers on this project. When trying to run the query for full text searches in the mysql console, I get an error message saying that "the used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes" and when I try to create a full text index for the ar_title column and run the query for full text searches, it stills gives me the same error message.

@MER-C : Working on implementing the fallback case (T109561#1940512) but will deliver it a little late than the normal timeline expected for such a task because i'm on a tight schedule with exams that are finishing on March 2nd.
As a reminder I am looking forward to contribute on this project for this season's GSoC '16 round and as @Sumit asked: "Does it look like something which should take about 2 weeks for a senior developer to complete? If yes, and if anyone is willing to support it with mentorship."

This project seems interesting. I am proficient in Php and MySQL and have little experience with mediawiki's code base. I took a look at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CirrusSearch and https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/profile/1174/ but in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/profile/1174/ I didn't really know what to look for there as I was seeing a lot of material that didn't really link to this specific project. I must be wrong. Can I have some guidelines please?

@jcrespo ok now you message is understood and thanks for your +1. Looking forward to contribute more than this.
@jcrespo i don't know what you are meaning by "owning" but i'm the one who submitted the patch for this task

Ok don't worry fellows i'm working on it.
