If my understanding from Phab upstream is correct, this comment will be specific to the 2015-09-16 version of this event. See Phab upstream T8696 for where I got this notion.

Candidate list for the next IRC meeting:

T468 would IMHO be the most interesting right now if the maintainers are available, as there is momentum right now: a refactor was just deployed successfully and no big fundraising centralnotice campaigns are planned for September.

I'd prefer postponing T388: Graphical configuration interface for another week or two, I haven't had time to update the RfC yet.

I think it's the best only if the maintainers of T468: CentralNotice backend improvements are enthusiastic about pursuing it. I'm sensing a lot more enthusiasm about T108255: Enable MariaDB/MySQL's Strict Mode, and I can better envision that leading to a more productive conversation.

I'm technically still on parental leave, so postponing T484: RFC: Scoped language converter for a few weeks would probably be best.

Since Phab events work a little strangely (to me, at least), I'm not sure how to treat this event. E66 (this one) is basically what will get cloned each week, and we have two events scheduled:

I will leave it up to @jcrespo if he wants to pull himself off of the default invitee list. Everyone else, feel free to add yourself to that list.

Late addition to this comment: I'll likely edit the description for E66 not to say so much about T112637, since over time, it won't be the bit of information we want to clone into new weekly meetings. I don't know how to reference the 2015-09-16 specific instance of this meeting rather than the general clone base.

Argh, I also forgot to mention that I posted the minutes of the 2015-09-16 meeting on mediawiki.org. I don't think I'll make a habit out of copying the minutes there, but I'm toying around with how to make robust links to minutes.

This event is the template for IRC meetings for a while, so I've edited the description to remove notes specific to the 2015-09-16 (UTC) meeting about T112637: RFC: Increase the strictness of mediawiki SQL code and leverage database code blockers for scalability

Also, here's neat trick that works in Phabricator (as of this writing). Here are the past and future RFC meetings:

....

Separate Phab tasks aren't actually created unless/until you comment or make a change on one of those links.

Cool! More meetings in the series

Yeah, it looks like Phab is doing the right thing here. I don't know how it's doing the right thing, but I guess it may be assuming that because I filed the task, and that I'm based in SF, that the meeting time should stay consistent with that. Regardless: yay!
