Be able to copy/paste whole tables, without selecting anything else on the page
Closed, ResolvedPublic8 Estimated Story Points

Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new page and insert a table (nothing else).
  2. Use the mouse to select that table.
  3. Copy it and paste it on the page.
  4. Discover that you can't copy and paste tables.

The kludge of selecting some additional page content on both sides of the table and then, after pasting, removing that extra stray content, isn't intuitive and can't be done anyway if there's no other content on the page.

Admittedly this requires selecting the whole table which may not be the best UI for larger tables, but the basic ability is there. (Pro-tip: You can use CTRL+A in a table)
