Description

Currently, user engagement with the KaiOS app is quite low. We will run an experiment to understand whether providing content recommendations on the app homepage leads to increased engagement.

There will be two groups with different homepage variants:

Control: Standard homepage, with search bar only
Trending articles: Feed of recent most-read articles in India, in addition to the search bar

Problem
The feeds on Wikipedia are useful for providing content for users to discover articles around various categories of content. In English Wikipedia, which is the most used in India, the feeds particularly top read/trending; featured article; on this day - show content more suited to a Western audience.
