Spotted by @Zapipedia-WMF: a newcomer who just started editing is supposed to get 0 page views until 24 hours pass since the first edit. However, before these 24 hours, the graph in the impact module shows up and downs.

Would it be possible to share the username of this newcomer, to help us debug? When (with timezone) was this screenshot taken?
Once T322890: Positive Reinforcement: Impact module - finalize copy and QQQ descriptions for TranslateWiki.net is deployed this issue will be hidden because we won't display the pageviews chart for users with 0 number of pageviews. It's still weird and maybe worth debugging.
The screenshot was taken Monday 16th January, around 19.45h UTC by the user Lauferagui.
Checked on testwiki wmf.19- the issue is confirmed
- a user with zero edits, User:Testzilant19aug01 makes two edits
- the user visits Special:Homepage - the graph label states that there are 0 Views on articles you've edited. The graph itself shows some views:
Note: The tooltip "A line chart showing the total daily views for articles edited in the last sixty days" does not specify that the pageviews of articles are calculated after the user made the edits, so the graph might be viewed as a separate piece of information not an illustration for 0 Views on articles you've edited.
Moving to current sprint for us to debug and fix as we still have some focus on impact module.
I was testing the impact module to see if this task could be resolved.
I’m no longer seeing the page view graph immediately after editing, but I'm not certain this is right either:
Tested via:

It looks like that user has the old impact module. If I look at it from Special:Impact I see:
Whoops, I mistakenly thought the new impact module was default on beta. Sorry!
OK, given that the page view chart is no longer shown to users immediately after editing, should we close / decline this task, or @Sgs do you still want to debug?
The chart data comes from dailyTotalViews (sum of page view data for all articles edited by the user) while the number is topViewedArticlesCount (view totals for the 5 most-viewed articles only). Not sure if that's intentional or not.
I don't think that was intentional. I've added a task to address that: T328391: Impact module: "Views on articles you've edited" total should use dailyTotalViews
And I'm going to close out this task as I believe it's no longer an issue.
