Description

To reproduce:

Observed: The caret is before the link to the username.
Expected: The caret must be after the username.

This happens on Firefox.

(It's so consistent that I already got accustomed to moving the caret after the link, but it's not actually good.)

Will ask @Mooeypoo - the issue is not present in betalabs as far as I can see.

I can reproduce this consistently; it seems to be an issue with VE's consideration of where to put the caret after adding inline templates...?

Seems like this is getting solved in T231094
