This task involves the work with determining the initial set of wikis where the New Discussion Tool will be offered as an opt-out setting by default.

    • A) Informing them of the prospect of the New Discussion Tool being offered as an opt-out feature at their project
    • B) Inviting them to share what – if any – issues should be considered blockers beyond those currently represented as sub-tasks of T271964
  • Any blockers that surface in the conversations with these wikis are documented in the ===Opt-out wikis section above

From the cswiki discussion: One user (GeXeS) is against and he said: " 'Helpful' editing modes don't suit me, I don't find them functionally beneficial […] So it's more of a formal and individual voice." Most users support deploying, they also said it is good mainly for new users.

We should probably remind people how to opt-out if they don't want it.
