It doesn't look this tool exists on translatewiki.net: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/translatewiki/+/master/groups/Wikimedia/WikimediaTools.yaml.

T229177 is open, so as far as I can see this repository is not yet i18n-ready yet. When the Gettext files are ready we can consider it for translatewiki.net. If this task is just about adding rights to l10n-bot that's fine but indeed that doesn't in itself make the tool active on translatewiki.net.
The gettext files are set up already @Nemo_bis and the sample interface language test for fr can be tested on tools.wmflabs.org/isa

I see bunch of files in i18n and translations. Which files should be set up for translation? Also, I don't see mention of which license the repository is using. It would be helpful to have the basic information needed for setup in the summary of this ticket.

@Nikerabbit ideally, the files to be setup for translations are files under translations/<lang_code>/messages.po which is actually where translated strings are picked up.
