Friends I have announced the deployment on English Wikipedia today 21 February 2024. Translations for French are still being sourced after some delays, nonetheless deployment should continue.

After a discussion with @Samwilson Edit Recovery will be deployed to mediawiki.org, French Wikipedia, English Wikipedia and Arabic Wikipedia (an instance of a RTL language) possibly in the week of 19 February. We will collect feedback for about a month.

Is it possible to get assistance to test myself before I can recommend pilot wikis? To get first-hand experience.

This task is now scheduled for 11 September 2023.

I have filed a phab ticket for the renaming to be done (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T345129) as the project page is a translatable page consisting of over 500 pages. Such moves are done by filling a Phabricator task so a system administrator can perform the page move on my behalf.

I looked at the document, and it still makes sense to me. The only observation is that we should continue to work within it, and merge other draft documents into it, so we have a one-stop space for all engagement around the IRS.
