I removed any of 2016's CheckWiki output files. I kept 2017's files. It should be much lower now.

Currently tags with no content with no properties are removed for these tags: gallery, center, blockquote, sub, sup
Which of these tags should also be removed when having properties but no content?

When I emailed you the first time, there were no 20160920 directories (ruwiki and enwiki). Now there are. However, only files finished on the 20th have been transferred. (ruwiki, frwiki and svwiki)

@Bgwhite, have you seen new instances of this issue in the last 24 hours?

is the data you're referencing publicly available?
CheckWiki scans for HTML syntax for lists and section headers. A scan is made everyday at 0z. The amount of <li> and <h*> in articles dramatically increased on the May 5 0z scan. Scans since then have shown dramatically higher numbers. Something changed on May 4 as these errors were not present before then.

Thank you Ariel for the explanation.
There appears to be other languages: eswiki, itwiki, jawiki, nlwiki, ruwiki......

Why was this declined? I haven't a clue what "per other tasks" means
These tags never need to be added to articles. Why is VE even having an option to do that?

This is also an accessibility issue.
* Item one <li> Item two</li> * Item three

Now we have section headings with only a <br> tag in it

Well, it was never fixed. I don't know what, "should now be fixed" as it doesn't give how it was fixed. I see this 3-4 times a day.

The ones in [[Timeline of ISIL related events]] don't appear to have newlines in the refs. I'm looking at the ones for July.

This also happens on enwiki:

[[2013–14 Swindon Town F.C. season]] is another article AWB won't remove blank lines on. I did do alot manually, but there are still more blank links in the article.

The problem is, tables don't end in just a }, they end with |}. So, {Retested 2013) shouldn't be showing up as table problem. Also, it is misleading and very hard to pinpoint the actual problem. I have been seeing these and thinking AWB caught a false positive.

So far, about 1/4 of the list contain false positives, sort of. They are not located in the middle of the table, but at the end. These cases, |-} should be replaced by |}. However, I've seen |-} come at the end of the table, followed by a template. The template closes off the table. Template {{Fb ps footer}} for example.

When one says it was fixed recently, could you tell us non-developers when it was fixed and when the fix went active? I have seen this issue in the past week with VE.

Still seeing problems with empty <span> tags. Below link is an example. It is also an example of borked tags and a borked list. (uses <li> instead of *).
Aug 4 2015
No. I imagine CX haven't switched on the flag asking for this to be done.
Content Translation tool uses Parsoid. Content Translation tool leaves copious amounts of zero-content annotations, including empty <span> tags. Therefore, Parsoid wasn't fixed. Correct?

A thousand years ago when I ran SGE, there was an administrator email setting. This would send emails if there were problems. Nagios also had SGE plugins. You whippersnappers run some new fangled gadget, but hopefully it has the plugin. Oh, get off my lawn!!
