This will solve T54564?
Is T235420 the same?

How https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/453402 can be merged to master? Who can do it?

handle escaped quotes, improve highlight rules, fix typescript declarations and many others
All changes are here https://github.com/ajaxorg/ace/commits/master as I understand
@Aklapper The last update of ace editor library was on https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-extensions-CodeEditor/commit/628e0a84abdb8acfdaf8ae6202abcd75ec335ec2 as far as I can see in commits log of CodeEditor
And this occurs with all Unicode text consisting of more then 1 byte per character
In Firefox and Safari everything is ok, problem happens only in Chrome
Aug 16 2018
the issue is also present with Unicode text consisting of more then 1 byte per character
I found the same ticket!!! https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T200741 Could someone merge them?
I don't think that VisualEditor is involved, it is turned off in my settings.
Oh, in Safari this bug does not occur! But in Chrome it occurs also in Windows and in a private browser window
I work with MacOS High Sierra, Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)
@Aklapper I have just added Krinkle myself, I do not know will he agree or not to solve this problem. The bug occurs when you edit lua scripts with Cyrillic strings. For example in https://uk.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%D0%9C%D0%BE%D0%B4%D1%83%D0%BB%D1%8C:Wikidata&action=edit
@NickK Can you add a comment?
You can try to edit Cyrillic strings in https://uk.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%D0%9C%D0%BE%D0%B4%D1%83%D0%BB%D1%8C:Wikidata&action=edit

I think we should first answer the question: before wikidata came, had we allowed iwiki links to chapters of the article, i. e. like this: [[de:Figuren in Tolkiens Welt#Aragorn]]? As far as I can see such links were allowed in all wikipedia on every language. Therefore why now with wikidata we can not to allow to add sitelinks to redirect pages? Maybe not to all types of redirects (it can be just different spelling, then there is no point to add its), but if it is redirect with possibilities then it definitely worth be allowed!

I can not reproduce the problem. In my local wiki (on my machine: MediaWiki 1.30.0-alpha (fb36b7d) PHP 5.5.38 (apache2handler) MariaDB 10.1.22-MariaDB, Flagged Revisions – (aa44500) ) I reviewed a page, then deleted it and restored it. Everything seems to be fine. Can somebody (@Choomaq @MaxBioHazard @Arbnos ) tell me step by step how to reproduce this bug
