background

We are planning to update how our styles look on desktop when printed.

acceptance criteria

  • Implement new print styles for desktop - ensure all subtasks are closed
  • Styles should be feature flagged
  • New styles should be enabled on the beta cluster to allow us to gather feedback from community.

open questions

  • It's unclear how we want to measure this right now, but we are exploring A/B tests (See T169731).

@Volker_E this is a deploy ticket.. attach any patches related css styles to T169823

I have considerably changed the css which is now on GitHub Gist by @Jdlrobson for better visibility

This EPIC will go through reading web development process as quarterly goal

I will defer to @Jdlrobson for advice on collaboration needs
