In this case, a bullet list (*) was added without reason and the editor didn't want it. I don't know is it is the same issue.

Another case reported by @EniPort at hu.wiki:

A recurring problem for me is that when I reply to a message that ends with a list, my new message appears as a new point in the previous list.
